Common Questions
Things worth knowing before we talk
What types of organisations does Duskberry typically work with?
Duskberry works across a range of sectors — financial services, professional services, manufacturing, and technology. Our engagements suit organisations of around 30 to 500 people, often going through growth, regulatory change, or a period where leadership wants greater structural clarity.
How long does a typical engagement take?
Each service has a defined timeframe: Risk Landscape Mapping runs 3–4 weeks, Compliance Architecture Review takes 4–5 weeks, and Business Continuity Planning is delivered over 5–6 weeks. These timelines are honest — we don't rush, and we don't stretch unnecessarily.
Do you work with companies outside Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. While our office is in Bangsar, we work with clients across Peninsular Malaysia and occasionally East Malaysia. For organisations outside the Klang Valley, engagements are structured to minimise travel disruption while maintaining the quality of interaction that workshops and reviews require.
What does the initial conversation involve?
We begin with a 30–45 minute call or meeting. The purpose is to understand your organisation's current situation, what's prompting the need, and whether one of our services is genuinely appropriate. There's no sales pressure — if we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
How is pricing structured?
Each service is priced as a fixed engagement fee in Malaysian Ringgit: RM 2,100 for Risk Landscape Mapping, RM 3,100 for the Compliance Architecture Review, and RM 3,900 for Business Continuity Planning. Payment is typically structured in two instalments. There are no surprise additions mid-engagement.
What happens after an engagement concludes?
You receive a complete deliverable — report, plan, or framework — that belongs to your organisation. Many clients return for follow-on work as their needs evolve, but there's no obligation to continue and no retainer structures unless you specifically want one.
